Get yer butt to the farmer's market!

It’s officially FARMER’S MARKET SEASON! The very best that local farmers have to offer is on sale NOW. Luscious berries, crisp veggies, robust greens -- fresh produce doesn’t get any better than June in Ohio! And if you support the idea of small farmers, bakers, and others earning a living from raising healthy, often organic food for YOUR table -- get yer butt to a market THIS WEEK. Many markets are open on weekdays, too. Here are just a few of the noteworthy ones around Columbus:

Grandview: Saturday 10-1 pm

Reynoldsburg: Thursday, 3:30-6:30 pm

SUMMER FIELD TRIP TO THE FARM! See, taste, and experience life on the farm while gaining practical new skills and learning about sustainable agriculture and local foods during the 2018 Sustainable Farm Tour and Workshop Series.

In addition to OEFFA's 14 farm tours, this year’s series also includes a farm-to-table dinner and five educational workshops on land assessment, bionutrient-rich food, farm planning, and scaling up production and marketing.
